Study Tempo

Students will be able to choose their own study tempo (25, 50, or 100%) - see table below. This therefore makes it possible for students wishing to combine their studies with other activities (for example, other courses), or working professionals, to participate in the program. Nevertheless, the minimum accepted study tempo is 25%*.

The table below illustrates how many days it is expected to take to complete a 7.5 ECTS European credits course, based on the different study tempos. Most courses are equivalent to 7.5 ECTS credits, where 1.5 credits equals approximately 1 week full-time studies (5 working days).

Study tempo in % Expected no. of working days to complete a course
25 100
50 50
100 25

Students will have to specify the intended study tempo for each course when the course starts, and specify the intended tempo for the entire program when applying. Students that do not respect their planned schedule, and fall behind to an unacceptable level, will be un-registered for that course, and will have to re-apply.

On-line support will be available continuously throughout the week, but will be very limited on weekends.

* The tempos stated above might be negotiable with students that, for specific reasons, would like more flexibility.
